Traditions is a family owned business run by Russell Gomersall who is City & Guilds qualified with over twenty years experience in the profession. We pride ourselves in providing quality, professional and personal re-upholstery and furniture restoration services. Our reputation is based on recommendation and attention to detail, you can be assured that the methods and quality of workmanship are practiced to a high standard.

We started our family business back in Oxfordshire before moving to Dumfries & Galloway, which is located in South West of Scotland. In 2022 we moved into larger premises, which now enables our re-upholstery, French polishing, furniture restoration, blinds and shutter installation services to be delivered across Dumfries & Galloway and surrounding areas. In addition we also have a successful Antique and Collectable part of the business, which has been featured on the BBC television programme “Antiques Road Trip on” two separate occasions.
