Director of Training

We're looking for a Director of Training to join our Board and help shape upholstery and soft furnishing education across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our network of Training Centres, expand into new areas, and ensure our profession continues to thrive through quality training standards.

We're seeking someone with a background in training and education, ideally with knowledge of soft furnishings, modern & traditional upholstery. You'll be connecting with Training Centres across the country, working with stakeholders, and helping to preserve these important skills for future generations.

Previously a voluntary role, the Board has now decided to make this position remunerated on a self-employed contractor basis for 17 hours per week, to reflect the time and commitment required, with flexible working arrangements. The role will commence beginning of September 2025.
