How will joining AMUSF benefit me and my company?
Membership of the AMUSF is open to all practitioners within the crafts of Upholstery and Soft Furnishers who are based in the UK.
Membership may be held by an individual or by a Company. However, it is a requirement that a Company can demonstrate that their employee(s) are able to produce work to a high standard whilst offering excellent customer service.
It is not envisaged that an applicant where the principal has less than three years post qualification/training experience would be ready for full membership. However, they can apply for Associate Membership and use some of the benefits of membership in order to stay in touch with us as their company grows .
Applications are also welcome from Trade Suppliers within our crafts.
Training organisations may also apply to be members providing that they also produce commercial work, but they may not link their membership to their training unless they are delivering the AMUSF qualifications as an AMUSF Approved Training Centre.
